TV (Cartoon): JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED - Beatriz got animated with the debut of the 3rd season of the Justice League series, when the show was renamed to Justice League Unlimited. Although relegated to some background cameos and non speaking roles in the first and second seasons of JLU, Fire started to burn brighter in the third and unfortunately last season of the famed cartoon series. She was prominently featured in the episoded "I Am Legion" and "Grudge Match" and voiced by Maria Canals, the actress also responsible for Hawkgirl's voice.
A possible romance with the Flash (voiced by Michael Rosenbaum) was hinted, though in the same season the animated version of Linda Park was introduced. Fire was usually spotted with her best friend Ice, who is gladly alive and kicking in the animated DCU.
The show may be over but one can at least expect the JLU return in DVD sets and direct to DVD releases. Back Up

TV (Live Action): JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (1997) - In 1997 CBS commissioned a pilot episode of what could be a live action series based on the Giffen and Dematteis era of the Justice League.
The pilot featured Fire, the Martian Manhunter, the Flash, the Green Lantern (Guy Gardner) and the Atom joining the young metheorologist and debutante heroine Ice (performed by Kimberly Oja) against the villain Weather Man.
Fire was performed by actress Michelle Hurd, who later would be a part of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit cast. In the pilot, B.B daCosta was a struggling actress and stalked by a young man. She and Guy Gardner had a relationship in the past.
The pilot's quality, from the uniforms to the script and most of the acting, was far from acceptable and the series never happened. Back Up

Radio: SUPERMAN: DOOMSDAY AND BEYOND (1992) - In 1992, BBC Radio 4 aired a radio adaptation of the Death of Superman saga. Fire was performed by an uncredited actress. Anyone with a recording of this show or information on who played Fire is most welcome to e-mail me. Back Up

Collectible: So far DC Comics has not released any Fire related action figure or other memorabilia. Let's just hope the Fire comes out in some future wave of JLU action figures, even though the cartoon is over, and in some Checkmate related DC Direct release.
